About Us

Project Mimesys is dedicated to the study and diffusion of René Girard’s
mimetic theory, and to its practical impact on culture, education,
faith, and community life.

We host reading groups, talks, workshops, and online resources that help
people recognise patterns of mimetic desire, rivalry, and scapegoating
in their own contexts.

Our mission is to foster reconciliation, non-violence, and a deeper
understanding of the human person through the lens of mimetic theory.
